Star Wars: The Force Awakens – First Reactions

There were a total of three simultaneous showings at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood last night. Most participants gave a vow of #NoSpoilers on Twitter. Reactions have been mixed…

 

And without spoiling it, I can say that #StarWarsForceAwakens has the BEST final shot of any Star Wars film. Wow.

Only thing I didn’t like in #StarWarsForceAwakens was Abba’s “Super Trouper” on the soundtrack whenever there were stormtroopers.

I'm an OG Star Wars fan, saw it opening weekend 1977. Returned twice a weekend every weekend through fall. It was my obsession. I was 9.

What thrilled me as a kid were the faces and places in Star Wars. The various characters and the locales that were visited.
