My Podcast mic came in yesterday, and it’s a hefty device – Blue Yeti. This mic has gotten mostly praise with very few deal breaking negative experience. I’m a firm believer in you get what you pay for, and based on construction alone, I’m happy. Not a huge fan of the feel, it’s rather plastic-y, but It was done to reduce the weight of the actual microphone since it has a die-cast metal base to keep it from getting thrown about. Or that’s my take on it and it makes sense to me.

What’s next? Well, do a podcast! I’ll do a 15 minutes, then 30 minute. Do some production and editing for it and post it, look for feedback.

Stay tuned…

Or don’t, but I’d appreciate it if you did.
