As a “new seasoned” veteran Whovian, I’ve come to expect that The Doctor character is ever evolving, and the man in charge, Steven Moffat, likes to make his audiences uncomfortable. The newest incarnation of the television series started with Christopher Eccleston, but after one season the show moved on, transitioning to  David Tennant, who I consider “my doctor” (more on that later). My Podcast mic came in yesterday, and it’s a hefty device – Blue Yeti. This mic has gotten mostly praise with very few deal breaking negative experience. I’m a firm believer in you get what you pay for, and based on construction alone, I’m happy. Not a huge fan of the feel, it’s rather plastic-y, but It was done to reduce the weight of the actual microphone since it has a die-cast metal base to keep it from getting thrown about. Or that’s my take on it and it makes sense to me.Read More →
